Michelle's first view on the arising racism in the U.S:
Nowadays, racial discrimination is not only the hottest topic in America but also in the world.
So, why does it have to be so? The racial discrimination began with the white supremacists. They are people who believe that white people are superior to those of other races. The secret group Ku Klux Klan also called KKK is seen as a reason that led to the violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, on Aug 12,2017, killing at least one person and dozen of people injured. In that day, many angry white men played as soldiers and heavily armed in public. They brought Nazi flags, Confederate flags, American flags, and wore “Make America Great Again” hats. And the white supremacists no longer felt the need to wear hoods to hide their racism and anti-Antisemitism. Watching these scenes on the T.V, I was so disgusted. In 2016, I was so hopeful that Hillary Clinton would become the first female president in the States but it didn't happen. Donald Trump, as a leader of the United States, had a retarded reaction about the Charlottesville's incident. The American public were so angry about the way Mr. Trump condemned the white supremacists and their violent acts. The President said that the unlucky incident happened because of the faults of many sides. He seemed to be sympathetic with the extremists.
What took place in Charlottesville alarmed the political observers in the U.S about the possibility of a new American civil war.
Will's first view on the arising racism in the U.S (icons and special characters removed):
In my opinion, the white supremacy must be condemned because I'm the one who loves freedom of speech. Meanwhile, white supremacy nowadays spreads all over the world like epidemic problem. It's not only a problem of the US but also a world-wide issue. Let me show you guys an example in sports: Sane- the best player in the midfielder position of German Football Team but he couldn't attend the World Cup because of his black skin. I think this is so unfair and the danger of racism is a state of emergency.
On the other hand, I think supremacy not totally bad! I don't mention ones who really follow and be fanatic to that supremacy!! I hate the idea of thinking a certain race is better than others. However, I'm really sympathetic to ones who have relatives got killed by anti-supremacists. Let's get back to American Civil War to understand the truth related to the economic drive behind slave abolishing movement. From my viewpoint, there was no "meaningful war", there were only wars which were wrongly accused by interest groups. .... I'm sympathetic for those people who have their own reasons but killing, fighting or harming the others is unacceptable.
Killing other people because of the colors on their skins is an act of a fanatic white racist. The extremists of white supremacists had taken wrong doings because they had been obsessing with the exaggerated fears that colored people may do something bad to their white communities. I couldn't understand why all black people have to suffer discrimination just because of the color of their skin. There were always some black criminals out there, just like there were always some white ones. I think it would be unfair if the society treat all black people like criminals. In our modern time, any kinds of hate crimes should be condemned. Stop being a racist, stop doing silly things, stop picking on the colored people if you want to live in a civilized world!"
Listen to Duy the Chef''s reply on Will's view on the arising racism in the U.S
In my opinion, I agree with Will because i think Will's opinion about white supremacy is really good and meaningful.
I think he was very open-minded and he told us some good examples about the current rising of white supremacists. But i don't think he could persuade me completely. I couldn't find a persuasive idea from his arguments. Besides, I did not learn anything new from him about the possible solutions that tackle the general issues of racism. He should give us more accurate and more extreme examples such as the historical incidents in which the Ku Klux Klan killed thousand of black people, or Jame Fields ( a supremacist ) used a car to attack the anti-supremacists and caused death and injuries. Most of all, I don't think his use of icons and bad words in a formal piece of writing was relevant. To conclude, his opinions were good. I wish he can do it better next time. Try harder, Will!

Will's response to Duy's comment:
I really apologize to you if you read my passage and saw some icons or bad words. I'll fix it the next time I write.
I think that it's gonna be ok if I can't persuade you, that's not a passage for persuasive purpose! Just my opinion about that problem. You got yours! I got mine!
You're asking me for some more solutions?
I wrote some!
"Stop being a racist, stop doing silly things, stop picking on the colored people if you want to live in a civilized world! "
I'm not a politician or a sociologist? If you can find some "possible", it's good! Right?!
In conclusion, thank you very much, thanks for advice!!
Duy's first view on the US racism on the rise:
In my opinion, I think racial discrimination is a big problem in the US. It may become a second civil war in America. In these days, people in the US went down the street and fought for and against racial discrimination. These people came from both sides: supremacists and anti-supremacists. Both sides fought to show the public they were the best. They used weapons, sticks and armors to protect themselves, but a supremacist named James Fields used a car to attack the crowd and caused deaths and injuries. Some people who were in anti-supremacists side were dead. The struggle was super big and happened all over the place but the police didn't care. President Donald Trump condemned this issue too late and the people thought he might be one of the white supremacists too.
Will's response to Duy's first view on the US arising racism:
Your passage is good! Your writing can show every single person what happened in Charlottevilles. It's a very good report!
And The Times can get it and put it in "Hot News" column! I think that I can't learn something new because... ABC News is faster than you! Personal opinion is something people'll never find out if they read your passage. American Civil War?! Really?! It's not gonna happen easily! Why did you say that Donald Trump is a white supremacist just because a slow condemnation?
Next time remember to condemn faster,
Mr. Donald Trump!
I know you can do it better.
Try your best!!
