Essay by Henry Huy Dang: My dream of Italy

Hello everyone, my name is Henry Dang. Now, I would like to tell you  what I think about Michelle's and Duy the Chef's essays on Anthony Bourdain's words as follows:

"No one understands and appreciates the American Dream of hard work leading to material rewards better than a non- American".

If you ask me "Is American good or bad?", I will answer It's bad because I am very scared of racial and economic discrimination.

Actually, it doesn't mean I can not see the good sides of American. Today, I met a very beautiful Korean girl - Jijeon and two  Italian boys from Venice- Dario and Andrea.

If you have never been  in Venice, it is good to know Venice is a spectacular European city of water with its ancient architecture, famous towers and squares.

They travel to Vietnam and rent rooms at Nha Homestay in Da Nang  where I go to learn English everyday.

Foreigners are very friendly and warm. They said "Hi" to me and wished me a nice day when they first met me.  Dario and Andrea are very handsome. Meanwhile, Jejion is very pretty.

My teacher, Miss N told me that she hosted a party and invited these guys to join her. When Andrea went out to buy some cans of beers, there was a man wanted to kiss him. Andrea was so surprised and said "No, thank you". This sounds so hilarious to me.

After some talks  with Andrea and Dario, I have a desire to study abroad in Europe, maybe my destination will be Italy where I can find peace in myself and run away from chaotic noises.

I  will  do my best to excel my English in order to pursue my education oversea in the future  and I hope Miss N could teach me some Italian one day.
